Three Generations of Barbers. One Family. One Passion.
A Family Tradition Since 2012
Every great story has a beginning, and ours began long before we opened our doors in Greenwood Lake in 2012.
Our story is rooted in generations of hard work, dedication, and a passion for the art of barbering. Born and raised in Ecuador, our founder, Iderson Suarez, began learning the trade at just 14 years old, following in the footsteps of his family’s barbering tradition.
With over 35 years of experience working in barbershops across Ecuador, Connecticut, and New York, Iderson decided it was time to turn his lifelong passion into something of his own.
In 2012, he proudly opened Greenwood Lake Barbershop. What started as a family dream soon became a place where neighbors gathered, friendships were built, and generations of customers returned for more than just a haircut.

As the years passed, that passion became a family legacy.
Iderson’s sons, Erick and Gary Suarez, followed in their father’s footsteps, embracing the family tradition and bringing their own dedication, vision, and love for the craft. Together, they have continued building upon the foundation their father established, honoring the values of quality, respect, and genuine customer service.
With the continued support and trust of our community, our family business has grown beyond its original home.
In 2021, we proudly opened Nice & Sharp Barbershop in Warwick, NY, bringing our family’s tradition of barbering to another wonderful community.
Then, in 2026, we celebrated another milestone with the opening of Nice & Sharp Barbershop in Pine Island, NY, marking our third location and another exciting chapter in our family’s journey.
Today, what began as one man’s dream has grown into three barbershops, three generations of tradition, and countless relationships built along the way.
But no matter how much we grow, our purpose remains the same: to provide quality haircuts, make every customer feel welcome, and preserve the personal connection that makes a neighborhood barbershop special.
To our longtime customers who have been with us since the beginning, and to the new faces who continue to walk through our doors, thank you for being part of our story.
